  1. 60 tufted ducks (or thereabouts).

  4. Pylons. This is pylon country.2013-12-10 12.48.23
  5. Two rabbits. One chasing the other.
  6. An unexpected beach.2013-12-10 12.49.47
  7. A large bird – maybe a buzzard, since I’ve seen a buzzard in the area before, but I couldn’t tell – wheeling in the sky, mobbed by two other birds – it looked like they were probably crows. I watched them for a while, thinking how irritating it must be for the bird of prey as it tried to shake them off!
  8. The long grass rustling in the wind. It sounded like gentle rain.
  9. Space age pods.2013-12-10 13.04.08
  10. A goat with a broken horn. It came over to me expectantly, but I had nothing for it, so it returned to munching on grass.2013-12-10 13.36.33
